Registration for Addiction 2022 should be made through the online registration system. Registration is required for all attendees and accompanying persons. Please see below for early, regular, and late registration deadlines and fees. Payments shall be made in Euros by bank transfer or credit card.


Upon receipt of your registration form and payment, the Meeting Secretariat will confirm your participation in the conference. Please allow up to 7 days for the Meeting Secretariat to process your registration and send you a confirmation email. Registrations can only be validated and confirmed when accompanied by payment.

Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel, ground transportation, hotel accommodation and meals (except for lunches included in the registration fees).

We have negotiated special discounted rates for all registered attendees staying at the conference venue Hotel Timi Ama Sardegna. Please book your stay following the instructions provided in the Hotel Accommodation page to take advantage of the best rates available.

Badges and Conference Materials

All participants will be provided with a badge upon registration at the Secretariat desk, which must be worn at all times whilst in the venue. You may also be required to show your badge at some social events. Please note, conference delegates will not be allowed into the session rooms without their badge. Please note that we cannot replace lost badges.

Upon arrival, all participants will be provided with a bag containing event materials.

Method of Payment

Payment can be made either by credit card or bank transfer. You will be prompted to choose your preferred payment method at the end of the registration process. 

Remittance should be free of charge to the recipient.

 Please note that personal cheques and bank drafts will not be accepted.

Clearly specify your full name and conference name (ADDICTION 2022) in the bank transfer details (Example: John Smith – Registration Addiction 2022).

Group registrations are not allowed. Please complete one registration for each attendee (only accompanying person can be included in each attendee’s registration form).

Early rates only apply for registration AND payment received BEFORE 30 August 2022. Registrations AND payments received AFTER such deadline will automatically be subject to the corresponding late fees. 

Payments by bank transfer will only be possible until 15 September 2022. Afterwards, payments will only be accepted by credit card.

Cancellation Policy

  • This cancellation policy only applies to registrations and social dinner fees. For accommodation and transport, please check the relevant cancellation policies applied by the hotel/transport supplier. The conference organizers cannot control nor are responsible for any policies or terms applied by such third parties.
  • For cancellations received on or before 31 July 2022, we will refund 80% of the total registration cost (including any activity fees). This same policy applies to partial cancellations.
  • No refunds will be made for cancellation requests received after 31 July 2022.
  • In case you are unable to attend the meeting, a substitute delegate will be welcome at no extra charge, unless her/his registration type is different from the your type (e.g. an ordinary attendee substituting for a PH student). However, any changes of the delegate names should be submitted in writing to the Meeting Secretariat before 1st September 2022.
  • All cancellations must be sent in writing to (please mention “Cancellation” in the subject line).
  • No-shows are liable for the entire registration fee.
  • In the event that the Addiction 2020 meeting cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the Meeting Organizers (Force Majeure*) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the Meeting Organizers, the Meeting Organizers cannot be held liable by attendees for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, financial losses, or any other indirect losses or consequential damages.

    Under these circumstances, the Meeting Organizers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future event, or to reimburse the attendee after deducting costs already incurred for the organization of the Meeting and which could not be recovered from third parties.

An event of force majeure shall include, without limitation, Acts of God, war, riot, fire, explosion, accident, flood, earthquake, sabotage, strike of employees other than those of Addiction 2022, inability to obtain power, fuel, material or labor or acts of any government.
